Great for my purposes
Everyone complaining about this bag being too small should have read the reviews before buying it. Yes, it is very "slim." I'm a college student and I had a large Targus backpack before this one, and that was just too large for my everyday needs. When I got this bag I was very surprised at how light it really was. The construction is great. The straps are well padded, and the back of the bag that rests against your back is also well padded. One of the straps has an elastic pouch on it to hold small items like a pack of gum or keys or whatever. It isn't easy to see though, and it lies flush with the surface of the strap when it's not being used. As far as storage goes. I can fit my laptop (a 15.4 inch MacBook Pro), a large textbook, a spiral notebook, a regular 2-pocket folder with stuff in it, 2 portable external hard drives with their USB cables, a pack of gum, 2 pens and pencils (there are only 2 actual pencil/pen holders, but you can use other slots for more), earbuds for my mp3...

pros: nice design, just right size, comfortable back and shoulder, looks very neat.cons: too many useless small inside pockets and no partition, not a good backpack for books,overall: if you need to carry notebook and small number of other stuffs, buy it. Solidly Built
I've had this laptop backpack for 3 months now. I own two other laptop backpacks and since I've had this one I've never wanted to go back to using them.This backpack is surprisingly comfortable. The shoulder straps aren't bulky, but they are slightly padded and adjustable in length at the bottom and in depth at the top. The laptop compartment sits next to the wearer's back and is padded with breathable mesh padding in a way that both protects the laptop and makes the backpack comfortable to wear. I haven't gotten sticky back, where sweat from your back makes your shirt stick to you after taking off a backpack, while wearing it.The build quality is uncompromising. The zippers are sturdy and in 3 months of daily use have snagged exactly 0 times. It looks exactly like the day I got it. No loose stitches, no signs of wear, no signs of fatigue. Nice laptop bag, but not as big as it looks
This backpack works really good as a laptop carrier, and you could also carry the cords, etc, but it's not nearly as big as it looks in the photo. In the photo it looks as if it could double as a school backpack, and it couldn't. That's not a drawback for *me*, but I just want to make that clear to a potential buyer. Aside from that, it's very well made, sturdy, and comfortable. It's also a nice alternative to the all too common messenger bag if that's not your style.

Satisfactory and pretty
After shopping around a bit, I finally settled on this sleeve for my 13 inch Macbook Pro. It fits snugly but not too tightly. I had read on some similar items that the zipper was unprotected and became a scratch-hazard itself but I'm happy to report that I can't see that being a problem here; it has just enough of an inner guard to prevent the zipper from touching my Macbook. The colors are slightly more monochrome than the picture leads you to believe but it's still a pretty design, I like it!My one complaint would be that the material is quite thin. I wasn't expecting top quality for the price but it's still a little disappointing. It'll definitely keep away scratches, which is what I wanted, but I doubt it would protect against rougher conditions, drops, etc. (Of course I have no plans to torture my laptop, but just in case!) This probably won't be my permanent sleeve but it's good enough to keep me happy for now.All in all worth buying as a cheap, fun...

Okay, but maybe not the best option
I bought this case for my new 13-inch Macbook Pro. It's pretty, although not as vibrant as it seems in the picture - the colors are nice, but it doesn't "pop" as much.I'm not exactly thrilled with this case. It's nice overall, and I'm not going to toss it, but I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for possible replacements. The zipper pulls are attached to the zippers by triangles of bent metal, like usual, but these bent completely open and the zipper pulls dropped off the first time I put any pressure on them. I'm not Rambo or anything - they came off WAY too easily. Also, the reason I had to pull so hard on them was because the zippers have a nasty habit of getting caught on the corners; they drag over the lining and get stuck. It's not that the case is too small for my computer, either; this happens when the case is empty too. So, I replaced to the pulls with knotted ribbons (which are constantly falling off because they slide out of the gap on the zipper) and I'm...

I couldn't have asked for a better case!
I made sure to measure my laptop before purchasing this bag, luckily it was the perfect size. The padded pocket is amazing, snug and the velcro strap is very nice, prevents my laptop from slipping out unexpectedly. I love the extra space and the outside pockets. This bag was made very well, the strap on the inside is textured so it doesn't slip off your shoulder, nice touch. There's nothing worse than watching your laptop slip to the ground. *shudders* I love the pattern on the front of the bag too. Overall I think this bag is great, and I would recommend this bag or any others from this company to others. I use it for school, so it's perfect! I hope everyone else is as pleased as I am.

Beautiful Yet Functional
I ordered this laptop bag in order to carry my computer back and forth to school. When I first opened the package and saw the design I noticed how beautiful it was. It looks almost exactly like the image except a little bit darker. I have a macbook pro 13" and even though the case was designed for a 15" computer i find that it works better with the 13" because there is a little bit of extra space for my things. The amount of padding is perfect and I'm ecstatic to start using this case. I completely recommend it or any of the other laptop case designs by this company!

Would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could
This bag is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a bag that had a padded compartment to fit my 14" laptop with a separate compartment for books, etc. and a smaller pocket or two for my ipod, phone, ID, etc. This bag has exactly that. My laptop (an HP Pavilion) fits quite easily into the padded compartment, which has a velcro closure for extra security. The non-padded pocket has ample space for books or other supplies and the two smaller zippered compartments are good for incidentals. The drawstring keeps the large compartment secure and the bag closes well with the velcro on the bag and flap (if the bag is REALLY stuffed I have to make sure to pull the flap down all of the way).The strap works well for me, but I am 5'6" and shortwaisted so I didn't really need to extend it (no issues with velcro that some have reported in reviews of similar bags).My only complaint is that I was choosing between 2 designs and went with this one because it did not have the...
